Thank you so much for this refresher article! You reminded me of the importance to stay on top of the research for the sake of my effectiveness in the classroom and optimal learning to take place in the minds of our future leaders. The PDF makes planning with other teachers very useful. A lot of teachers, like Brian mentioned, don't feel the need to remain on-going learners; this makes collaborating difficult with they're stuck on their "love" lessons, but your handy download may tip one or two of these naysayers to trying, one if not all, approaches listed.
